The college football season is nearly over, but there are still a few weeks left for us to win. We caught fire in this space last week, so let’s keep the momentum going. This week there are 11 games on the main slate, which means we have a few more options to sift through than normal.
Salary cap: $50,000
Lineup construction: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, flex, superflex
Important notes: In flex spot one, we can play a running back or a wide receiver. In the superflex spot, we can use any player in the pool. If you’re looking for tight ends, they are all listed at wide receiver.
Here are some of my favorite plays for the Saturday Noon main slate on DraftKings (11 games) in week 12:
Quarterback
Anthony Russo, Temple, $7,000
This is a fantastic price for a quarterback who scored 45 DraftKings points against undefeated Central Florida a few weeks ago. South Florida is allowing 31 points per game and Temple has eclipsed that mark in six of its past eight games. At least one Owl is going to return some massive tournament value Saturday. It’s rare we get a crack at a signal-caller who has QB1 upside at such a discount, so feel free to hammer Russo into your build at-will this week.
Taylor Cornelius, Oklahoma State, $8,600
Cornelius really delivered for us in last week’s Bedlam game, posting a passing line of 501/3/0 and 34 DK points. He’s in play again this week against West Virginia in a game with an over/under of 71 and an opposing quarterback (Will Grier) who will almost certainly push Cornelius and the Cowboys into a shootout. Though his price rose after last week’s performance, Cornelius would have hit 4x salary/points in three of his past five games at this $8600 mark.
