With Monday Night Football still to go, Week 1 injuries are already starting to pile up: Michael Gallup, Curtis Samuel, Raheem Mostert, Jerry Jeudy, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Rashaad Penny were all dinged up or worse over the weekend, so the Week 1 waiver wire is going to be essential to bolster fantasy rosters.

QUARTERBACKS
JAMEIS WINSTON, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Lasik eyes, full hearts, can't lose. Nobody saw the field clearer than Jameis Winston in Week 1, as the once erratic thrower ripped the Green Bay Packers defense to shreds. On just 14 completions, Winston threw five touchdown passes.
With a matchup next week versus a Carolina Panthers defense that just allowed 258 passing yards and two touchdown passes to a rookie quarterback making his NFL debut, Winston is plug-and-play off the waiver wire ahead of Week 2.
TAYLOR HEINICKE, WASHINGTON FOOTBALL TEAM
Ryan Fitzpatrick is slated to miss multiple weeks with a hip subluxation injury, which will force Taylor Heinicke into the starting role. Heinicke played well in relief in Week 1, going 11-for-15 for 122 passing yards and a TD with 17 rushing yards. He should be a priority add for players in 2QB/Superflex formats.
The former Old Dominion Monarch scored 25.8 fantasy points in last year's Wild Card Round against a stout Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, rushing for 46 yards and posting a 10.2 aDOT.
With rushing chops and an affinity to throw downfield, Heinicke should post decent fantasy numbers.
