Notes
• Teddy Bridgewater had his struggles at the start of the season, but he ended it strong, with the highest grade amongst all quarterbacks in the last five weeks of the season. That was enough for us to go light green with him.
• After his early-season struggles, Matt Kalil delivered some solid performances in the second half of the season. That caused us to bump him up to Below Average and, if he can produce again like he did in the second half of 2015, he's better than that.
• Xavier Rhodes is a lot like Baltimore's Jimmy Smith and he too finds himself just on the cusp of Very Good. We just haven't seen him perform at that high level consistently enough yet, but the talent is definitely there.
• Harrison Smith as Elite? Well, we certainly think so. He's been in the league for three seasons now and though he struggled with injury in 2013, he's sandwiched that year with two high quality seasons in 2012 and 2014.
Team Needs
Wide Receiver: A position with plenty of solid talent but no true top target and questions about their former first-round draft pick. They're picking high enough up in the draft that they have a shot at one of the top receivers so it will be interesting to see if they try to find that guy for Bridgewater.
Running Back: How much of a need this is will depend on whether or not Adrian Peterson is back in the fold for the Vikings, but with that up in the air right now it has to be viewed as a need. It makes sense to have a solid running game as Bridgewater continues to develop.
Cornerback: Rhodes and Munnerlyn are good starters, with Rhodes not far off a step up, but they could upgrade over Josh Robinson and even if they don't, we don't know enough about the depth players to say they can step in if called upon.
