  • With the changes the Bears made to their tight end unit this offseason, Brad Briggs of the Chicago Tribune believes Zach Miller may be the odd man out. The additions of Dion Sims via free agency, Adam Shaheen via the draft, and the emergence of Daniel Brown, a converted wide receiver, all spell trouble for Miller.
  • The 32-year-old Miller earned a career-high grade of 81.7 last season while also posting career highs in targets, receptions, and receiving yards. Miller has finished the last two seasons ranked as the eighth-best tight end in PFF grades.
  • Miller had only one drop on 48 catchable targets last season before sustaining a broken foot in Week 11. His drop rate of 2.08 ranked second for tight ends.
