Adam Schefter reports that FA WR Michael Floyd is talking to the Minnesota Vikings, among other teams, and hopes to have a deal in place by the end of next week.

Floyd saw 72 targets in 2016, the lowest figure of his career, and just five of them came in the final two games as a New England Patriot after the Cardinals cut him following a DUI.

Including the Divisional Round of the playoffs, Floyd caught just five passes for 51 yards and a touchdown for the Patriots.

Floyd has five drops in each season of his NFL career, regardless of targets, but 2016 represented career lows in virtually every major receiving category.
