  • Appearing on Adam Schefter's podcast, Carolina Panthers TE Greg Olsen said that in hopes of a new contract, he wouldn't rule out the possibility of a training camp holdout.
  • At 32, Olsen has gotten better with age, as seen in the past three seasons where he has graded as one of PFF's top three tight ends during each year. His career-best season grade to this point of 87.5 occurred in 2016.
  • Olsen had great production from the slot last season, running 56.6 percent of his routes there, while his 509 yards in the slot led all tight ends. He also showed reliable hands and great ability after the catch; his 369 yards after the catch and 2.44 drop rate both ranked third among eligible tight ends.
