- Jones was the highest graded WR last season, grading at an elite level with an overall PFF grade of 96.4. He also led all 115 qualifying WRs in 2016 with a receiving grade of 95.6.
- It can be argued that Jones has been the best receiver since the PFF era began, having two of the top five highest graded seasons in this era with grades of 96.4 in 2016 and 94.4 in 2015 (PFF era began in 2006).
- Jones ranked first last season among 96 qualifying WRs with 3.12 yards per route run and ranked tied for sixth with 31 deep targets and fifth with 401 yards on deep passes (targeted passes of 20 yards or more).
