- New Orleans Saints rookie running back Alvin Kamara spent time working with the wide receivers at the team’s OTA practices earlier this month, according to ESPN.
- The third-round pick was known for his receiving ability at Tennessee, averaging 2.4 yards per route run. That was the fourth-highest mark of any running back in the 2017 draft.
- Kamara also had the highest elusive rating in the draft class at 129.4, which boils down a runner's success beyond the point of being helped by his blockers. Only one running back in the country broke more tackles on receptions than he did last year.
