Barkley

The Giants' offensive line is partly responsible for Barkley's poor efficiency in the rushing game. However, even on perfectly blocked plays, his numbers don't stand out compared to other players. Even his receiving efficiency has been average since his rookie season, and this aspect of his performance is less dependent on the offensive line.

The one big positive of Barkley joining the Eagles is that he will get to run behind the Philadelphia offensive line. While the group lost Jason Kelce, almost the entire line is good at making positive blocks and generally avoids negative blocks. The Eagles came in at No. 2 on PFF's preseason offensive line rankings.

Barkley joins the Eagles, where his volume might decrease slightly, but an increase in efficiency could more than make up for it. While there's always a risk when a running back switches teams in free agency, it's understandable why fantasy managers are willing to take that risk early for Barkley.
