Nacua had one of the best rookie seasons ever and posted excellent numbers across the board. The fifth-rounder out of BYU broke the record for most receiving yards by a rookie, beating out Ja’Marr Chase (2021) and Justin Jefferson (2020). His 89.3 PFF receiving grade was good for seventh-best among qualifying rookie wide receivers in the PFF era, behind Odell Beckham Jr., Jefferson, Terry McLaurin, Michael Thomas, Garrett Wilson and Drake London.

There is a chance that Nacua’s target rate could increase slightly. Kupp is 31, while Robinson will turn 30 early in the season. It would make sense that Nacua is a year closer to his prime, and the other receivers are a year further away, leading to more targets for Nacua and fewer for his teammates.

The question around Nacua is straightforward: Can he repeat what he did as a rookie, or will he hit a sophomore slump? His situation is remarkably similar to last year, removing a lot of other potential uncertainty. His ADP suggests just a slight amount of regression, which is a fair hedge. That puts him at the end of the first round.
