Dell was incredible on a per-play basis as a rookie. He ranked in at least the 95th percentile for getting open, facing single coverage, facing off coverage, when lined up out wide and against zone coverage.

He didn't play a snap in 12 or 21 personnel with the starters in either of the Texans first two preseason games. His limited playing time will make it difficult for Dell to consistently provide value for fantasy managers each week.

Dell has the potential to be a top-five fantasy wide receiver, but there are many challenges this season. He could become a top-12 fantasy wide receiver, but that would likely mean other Texans players won't meet their ADP. Most likely, Dell will have a few excellent games mixed with several where he doesn't get enough catches to be a reliable fantasy starter.
