Sean McVay remains his head coach. which comes with pros and cons. The good news is despite constantly having a great passing game, he has no problem running the ball a lot. He’s also been among the best coaches at always having a clear lead running back. Over the last five years, Todd Gurley II, Cam Akers, Malcolm Brown, Darrell Henderson Jr., Sony Michel, Kyren Williams and Royce Freeman have all had the feature role for at least one game.

The Rams offensive line had issues in pass protection last season, but it was a top-five team in run-blocking grade. Kevin Dotson had a breakout season while Rob Havenstein bounced back after a subpar 2022. They lost Coleman Shelton to the Chicago Bears while adding Jonah Jackson. Jackson has more negatively blocked runs than you would like, but he also has a very high rate of positively blocked runs, which could turn more of Williams’ carries into long gains.

It will be hard for Williams to average over 21 PPR points per game with Blake Corum as his backup, but there is a high chance Williams can remain in the top 10 because the Rams like having a clear lead running back. There is the added risk that Corum becomes that lead back, but Corum will need to do a lot to get there because of how well Williams played last season.
