Singletary has typically served as the primary running back on pass-heavy teams. He’s not always had the opportunity to run frequently, resulting in sub-par cumulative stats. However, he has consistently broken more plays for 15-plus yards than most running backs, leading to decent rushing grades.
•
The Giants' offensive line is a significant concern, as they notably ranked fourth-worst in our offensive line rankings. Despite spending high draft picks on Andrew Thomas, John Michael Schmitz Jr. and Evan Neal in recent seasons, only Thomas has performed well so far. In free agency, they added Jermaine Eluemunor and Jon Runyan. Eluemunor is on his fourth team and has mostly been a backup with experience playing various offensive line positions. Runyan started for the Packers in each of the last three years and is a much better pass protector than a run blocker. Singletary has consistently dealt with sub-par offensive lines throughout his NFL career, and this will continue with the Giants unless their young players improve.
•
Singletary finishes as a top-24 fantasy running back just over half of the time when he is a clear starter. While there is a chance a young running back could emerge, Singletary has a better chance of finishing around RB24 in fantasy points per game if he stays healthy. His ADP is currently at RB35 due to his low chances of breaking into the top 15 running backs.
