- After gaining 98 receiving yards in the Arizona Cardinals’ 26-14 loss to the Rams, Larry Fitzgerald moved ahead of Isaac Bruce into fourth on the all-time receiving yards list with 15,267 yards. He is now only 25 receiving yards behind Randy Moss for third in NFL history with four games remaining in 2017.
- Fitzgerald earned the highest grade of his career in 2008 during Arizona’s Super Bowl appearance season with a 92.5 overall, ranking second in the league behind only Steve Smith Sr. That mark is also ranked as the 12th-highest overall season grade ever recorded by a wide receiver in the PFF Era (since 2006).
- With a game grade of 95.2 overall, Fitzgerald racked up 149 receiving yards on nine receptions and a monstrous 18 targets in Week 17 of 2011. This was the highest graded game of his career.
- Even with a revolving door at quarterback, the former Pitt Panther’s 3.50 drop rate since 2006 would rank 10th among wide receivers this season. Fitzgerald has played with 14 quarterbacks since 2006, with only three of them grading above 80.0 overall in a season.
- If Fitzgerald has taken a step back in the twighlight of his career, it isn't much of one. His overall grade of 83.9 is tied for the 10th best receiver grade so far this year and his wide receiver rating of 111.6 is ranked 15th out of 88 qualifying receivers.
