- Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that Miami Dolphins WR Jarvis Landry is yet to be offered an extension from the team. Landry is in the final year of his contract and has said he won’t negotiate once the regular season starts, but Jackson says it’s “certainly possible that could change in the coming weeks.”
- Landry was one of the best receivers in the slot last year, his 65 receptions and 856 yards led all wide receivers with a minimum of 32 targets. He also ranked second with 2.33 yards per route run from the slot.
- Landry also proved to be elusive after the catch as he forced 26 total missed tackles last season, tied for second among wide receivers only being bettered by New York Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr. who forced 29.
