  • Washington Redskins inside linebacker Zach Brown has been named on Bleacher Report’s “Most Overlooked Additions of the 2017 NFL Offseason.” The 27-year-old linebacker signed a one-year, $2.3 million deal with Washington in April after making the Pro Bowl and being named second-team All-Pro in 2016.
  • Brown ranked 17th among 87 qualified linebackers with an overall grade of 84.1 in 2016. Brown's year was a tale of two seasons though, as he had a 90.0 overall grade following Week 8 that declined steadily as the rest of the year wore on.
  • Brown tallied 43 of his 59 stops in those first eight games, gaining just another 16 throughout the second half of the season, while receiving game grades below 40.0 in four of those eight games. If Brown can regain his form from the first half of the season though, Washington almost certainly will have found themselves a steal in free agency.
