- FanRag sports reports Tennessee Titans WR Tajae Sharpe is expected to be ready for training camp, Sharpe had offseason foot surgery following his rookie season. This is just one obstacle of many Sharpe will have to overcome to make an impact for the Titans in 2017. Among them are an off-field incident involving the police and the Titans investing significant resources into the wide receiver position this offseason, bringing in three projected contributors.
- Sharpe led all Titans wide receivers in snaps as a rookie with 790. Sharpe didn’t play particularly well, as his 50.3 overall grade ranked just 96th out of 115 qualifying wide receivers. Among receivers with at least 44 targets Sharpe ranked 79th out of 96 in yards per route run at 1.08.
- Leading into his rookie season, Sharpe was a preseason sensation. His 4.66 yards per route run in the 2016 preseason ranked second among 144 qualifying receivers.
