Steelers G David DeCastro is NFL's highest graded guard

  • Pittsburgh Steelers G David DeCastro is building off his Pro Bowl campaign in 2016 (86.3 overall grade), currently ranking first among 69 qualifying guards with an overall grade of 90.8. His run block grade of 92.0 is the highest among all guards.
  • In Week 3, DeCastro did not allow a single pressure against the Chicago Bears. He finished the game with an overall grade of 80.9, the fourth-highest grade among all Steelers players.
  • In 117 total pass block snaps this season,  DeCastro has allowed only one pressure, a hurry.
