- Denver Broncos WR Emmanuel Sanders feels better after having cut fast food from his diet recently, according to 9 News Denver’s Mike Klis.
- Having spent the first four seasons of his career in Pittsburgh, Sanders took his game to another level after signing with Denver in 2014. While his PFF grade was between 73.0 and 76.0 in all of his years with the Steelers, he has graded above 83.0 in each of his seasons as Bronco. However, his 2016 grade of 83.3 was his lowest over the past three years as his grade kept gradually declining from a career-best 88.8 in 2014.
- Sanders’ yearly yards per route run figures also show that while he is still more effective than when he was with Pittsburgh, he has taken a step back from where he was in his first year in Denver. Nevertheless, a new diet might help Sanders, who turned 30 in March, become more athletic, which might lead to him being as effective as he was before.
