- Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times reported that Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Paul Richardson has usually lined up as the other starting receiver in Seahawks camp. With Tyler Lockett on the PUP list, Richardson has joined Doug Baldwin in the base offense ahead of Jermaine Kearse.
- Richardson played 429 snaps last season after only playing seven snaps in 2015 due to injuries. He posted a career-high 77.3 PFF grade in 2016 that ranked 44th out of 115 qualifying wide receivers.
- Richardson was one of the most explosive receivers in the playoffs last season despite only being targeted nine times. He caught three of four deep passes (targeted more than 20 yards downfield) for 100 yards, the fourth-highest total on deep passes in the postseason.
