The Seattle Seahawks utilized a strong performance from their star QB Russell Wilson in the second half en route to defeating the New York Giants 24-7 on Sunday afternoon. Wilson tossed three second half touchdowns while the Seahawks defense limited Giants QB Eli Manning to just 134 yards on 19-of-39 passing.
Doug Baldwin hauled in the first of Wilson's touchdowns midway through the third quarter, on his way to a nine-reception, 92-yard performance. TE Jimmy Graham caught the last of Wilson's touchdowns as he also had a strong showing in the game.
Seattle's defense also did a great job of bottling up the rushing attack of the Giants, as they combined for just 46 yards on the ground on 17 attempts. With that, we give you our PFF exclusive takeaways from the contest for each team.

Russell Wilson was his usual self against the New York Giants, manuevering around the pocket and allowing his recievers to extend routes on his way to 340 passing yards. Wilson is notoriously tough on defensive coordinators since he can beat you in a multitude of ways, when the Giants didn't blitz he completed 78 percent of his passes for 193 yards. While under pressure he completed 9-of-14 attempts for 130 yards. Wilson pushed the ball downfield often, completing 8-of-15 passes traveling over 10 yards through the air.
WR Doug Baldwin, 87.8 overall grade
Doug Baldwin was Russell Wilson's favorite target on the day, having been thrown at 12 times and hauling in nine passes for 92 yards and a score. Baldwin victimized a few members of the Giants' secondary but perhaps most notably on a shake route beating Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie for a third quarter touchdown. Baldwin has caught 36 of his 50 targets so far this season with zero drops.
LB Bobby Wagner, 92.9 overall grade
Wagner tallied one pressure against the Giants (a hurry) and played solid run defense (81.7 run-defense grade), but where he really shined though was in coverage. Three of Wagner's five stops on the afternoon (a solo tackle resulting in a “loss” for the offense) came in coverage and he also broke up two passes.
DI Jarran Reed, 84.7 overall grade
Reed beat Giants center Brett Jones to get a strip sack on Eli Manning in the fourth quarter to go with an 84.1 run-defense grade. The big man from Alabama secured four run stops on just 13 run-defense snaps, giving him a 30.8 run-stop percentage, which ranks second among interior defenders in Week 7 as we head into Sunday Night Football.

Despite being a rookie, Engram showed today that QB Eli Manning has at least one trustworthy weapon in the passing game still in his young tight end. Engram hauled in 6-of-10 targets and gained 43 of his 60 yards after the catch. Manning had a 110.4 passer rating when targeting the first-round pick.
QB Eli Manning, 44.8 overall grade
Manning attempted 11 throws on the afternoon that traveled at least 10 yards down field in the air, he completed just three of them for a total of 32 yards. Manning struggled under pressure as well, completing just 2-of-8 passes for just 26 yards and a 40.6 passer rating when under duress and he put up just a 51.9 passer rating when Seattle dropped at least seven players into coverage.
DI Damon Harrison, 88.4 overall grade
Harrison played a large role in limiting Seattle to under 4.0 yards per carry. His three stops contributed to his 94.2 run defense grade as the Seahawks interior line struggled to successfuly open running lanes. Harrison's 15.0 percent run stop percentage for Week 7 puts him among the top for defensive tackles. He currently fields a 11.7 percent on the season, which is third among defensive tackles in the NFL.
CB Eli Apple, 83.7 overall grade
Eli Apple has strung together two impressive weeks in a row at cornerback. He allowed only two receptions on six targets and registered two pass break ups against Seattle. Apple has notched three pass break ups the past two weeks while only surrenderring 55 yards on 16 targets. This is the type of player New York was hoping to get when they took him 10th overall in last year's draft, Giants' fan will hope he can continue this solid play throughout the remainder of the year.
