- Free agent RB Rashad Jennings, who was released by the New York Giants in the offseason, still has aspirations of signing with a team before the start of the 2017 NFL season according to The News and Advocate.
- His overall PFF grade of 58.0 ranked 58th among 62 running backs. This was the second lowest grade of Jennings' nine-year career. Jennings' highest grade came in 2013, where the running back had an overall grade of 77.3, which ranked ninth out of 56 running backs.
- Jennings led all running backs last season with a pass blocking efficiency (PBE) of 98.3 only allowing 1 total pressure on 59 pass blocking snaps (PBE measures pressure allowed on a per snap basis with weighting towards sacks). This was a bit of an outlier for his career, as he ranked 13th in 2015 and 22nd in 2014. His 2016 PFF pass blocking grade of 83.5 ranked third among 59 qualifying running backs.
