  • Titansonline.com writer Jim Wyatt said he’s “really been impressed” with running back Derrick Henry this offseason.
  • Henry showed flashes throughout his rookie campaign last fall, despite taking a backseat to starting running back DeMarco Murray.
  • Henry’s 57.9 elusive rating ranked seventh among running backs that received at least 83 carries. Elusive rating uses missed tackle rate and yards gained after contact to measure a runner’s success beyond the point of being helped by his blockers.
  • He also excelled in pass protection, allowing one total pressure in 39 pass block snaps. His pass blocking efficiency rating of 98.1 tied for the second-highest rate among running backs that played a minimum of 28 pass blocking snaps.
