- When asked about impressions of Lynch during OTAs, Oakland Raiders offensive coordinator Todd Downing states RB Marshawn Lynch “has pleasantly surprised me at every turn.”
- Lynch is 31 years old. His most recent season in 2015, he finished as the second highest graded RB with an overall grade of 86.2, despite playing just 359 snaps due to injury. Of the eight other NFL running backs age 31 or older, Matt Forte finished with the highest overall grade in 2016 with a 73.0.
- Forcing 37 missed tackles on just 124 touches (a missed tackle every 3.35 touches), Lynch finished as the most elusive running back in 2015 (min. 100 rush attempts).
