- ESPN's Mike Reiss reports that the New England Patriots have come to terms with center David Andrews on a contract extension that keeps him in New England through 2020.
- Andrews started for the Patriots as an undrafted free agent for much of his rookie season in 2015, posting a solid 74.2 PFF grade.
- He solidified the starting center job in 2016, playing all but four of the Patriots 1,359 offensive snaps including the playoffs, posting an improved grade of 79.8.
- The entire Patriots offensive line had an average or better PFF grade, and with both Andrews and left guard Joe Thuney the lowest graded, there is every chance we will see the Patriots offensive line take another step forward as they improve.
