- RB Brandon Bolden could possibly be a veteran on the roster bubble this year for the Patriots, as the team has quite a bit a depth at running back after the signings of Mike Gillislee and Rex Burkhead this offseason, per Mike Reiss.
- Bolden has seen his offensive snap counts fluctuate throughout his career, starting at 13.7% his rookie year, getting as high as 30.9% in 2013, but dipping all the way down to 5.3% last season.
- Most of Bolden's work comes on special teams, where he is a regular contributor on kick and punt coverage as well as kick returns. He totaled 268 snaps on special teams last season compared to just 14 on offense.
