  • David Newton of ESPN.com reports that Carolina Panthers offensive tackle Michael Oher plans to report to training camp on July 25 even as his future with the team is still uncertain. Oher hasn’t seen the field since Week 3 of 2016 when he was placed in the concussion protocol and still hasn’t been cleared by doctors.
  • Oher’s future with the team is uncertain because the Panthers added Matt Kalil in free agency, and drafted Taylor Moton in the second-round. Moton didn’t allow a sack last season in 427 pass blocking snaps while at Western Michigan University.
  • The former Ole Miss Rebel had a career-high in pass-blocking efficiency, measures pressure allowed on per snap basis with weighting towards sacks, of 95.6 during the 2015 season but has only had a PFF grade above 70.0 twice in his career (2009, 2011).
