- According to ESPN's David Newton, second year Carolina Panthers cornerback James Bradberry suffered a broken left wrist after an, “awkward fall,” at OTAs on Monday. Bradberry could be ready for training camp and is expected to be in a cast for up to six weeks.
- The second round pick out of Samford had a solid rookie campaign, grading as the best rookie corner in 2016 and the 20th best CB overall with a PFF overall grade of 82.6.
- Bradberry led all rookie corners in tackle efficiency last year with a combined tackle efficiency of 14.3. He only missed 4 total tackles all season.
- Bradberry ranked third among 11 qualifying rookie corners in yards allowed per cover snap, with a mark of 1.08. He also finished third among 11 rookie corners in passer rating allowed, allowing a passer rating of only 85.5 when quarterbacks threw into his coverage.
