- ESPN Green Bay Packers reporter Rob Demovsky is reporting that rookie running back Jamaal Williams is getting some reps with the first-team offense
- In the report, Demovsky cites Packers offensive coordinator Edgar Bennett as saying Williams ability to pass protect is the reason for the reps. During the 2016 season, Williams allowed just 6 pressures on 127 pass-block snaps and posted a PFF pass-block efficiency rating of 96.3, ranking 70th out of 179 eligible running backs.
- Williams posted a PFF overall grade of 86.1 in 2016 and was ranked by PFF as the 10th-best RB prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft.
