Jason Peters is 'fine' and will return to Eagles practice

Philly voice writer Jimmy Kempski reports that Philadelphia Eagles left tackle Jason Peters is “fine” and will return to Eagles practice on Wednesday. Peters played just 32 of 69 snaps in the Week 1 win over the Washington Redskins, after he suffered a groin injury in the first half.
In 2016, Peters added another chapter to his stellar career, achieving a PFF overall grade of 87.9, the ninth-best grade among offensive tackles. Over his career, Peters has been one of the most consistent players in the NFL, and has graded in the top 12 at his position every year since 2006, including two first place finishes.
Peters has also been one of the most consistent pass-protecting tackles in the NFL over the last few seasons. From 2012-2016, Peters registered a pass-block efficiency (the PFF metric that measures pressure allowed on per snap basis with weighting towards sacks) of 96.3 that ranks fifth of 67 tackles with at least 1250 pass blocking snaps over that time.
