- According to Ryan O’Halloran, the Jacksonville Jaguars have held extension talks with WR Allen Robinson’s Robinson enters the final year of his rookie contract in 2017 and has said during the offseason that he feels that he has earned a contract extension.
- Robinson had a disappointing season last year, earning an overall PFF grade of 74.9, which ranked as the 55th best receiver among 115 qualifying wide receivers. In 2015 Robinson had a breakout season, he ranked as the 11th best receiver that season with an overall PFF grade of 87.5.
- In that 2015 season Robinson was extremely dangerous on deep passes (a pass targeted 20 or more yards downfield). His 19 receptions and 672 receiving yards on such passes led the NFL.
