- According to NFL Network’s James Palmer, Houston Texans rookie RB D’Onta Foreman was arrested early Sunday morning on marijuana and weapons charges. While it is clearly far too early to speculate on any potential disciplinary action taken, this is obviously not an ideal start for a player expected to play a big role in Houston’s offense this season.
- Foreman finished 2016 ranked 13th in FBS with 40.7 percent of his runs resulting in breakaways (gains of at least 15 yards).
- His 64 forced missed tackles on rushes ranked fourth among 2017 draft prospects.
- Elusiveness was a clear weakness of Texans starting RB Lamar Miller last season, as he ranked last in the league with an average of just 1.99 yards after contact and 49th out of 53 backs in elusiveness rating.
