Free Agent WR Anquan Boldin still hopes to play in 2017, has talked to multiple teams

  • FA WR Anquan Boldin has had talks with a number of teams, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinal, has a visit set up with an undisclosed team, and would like to play for a contender in 2017.
  • Boldin played 830 snaps for the Lions in 2016 and though he was their third-most targeted receiver (88), he had by far the best catch rate (76.1 percent).
  • Boldin had the best wide receiver rating (114.0) and the second-best drop rate (6.94 percent) among all Lions receivers, but the lowest yards per route run figure (1.06) as he filled something of a specialist possession receiver role.
