  • In an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio, free agent RB Joique Bell said he wants to play in 2017 season. In the interview, Bell said, “There's a ton of guys in the league that know what I can do,” and that there was no timetable for him to sign with a team.
  • From 2012 to 2015, Bell was a difference maker in the Detroit Lions backfield. He finished in the top six among running backs in yards per route run three times, including a strong 2015 performance where he averaged 3.29 yards per pass route run, ranking first of 56 backs with at least 20 targets.
  • Bell only played seven snaps in 2016, and on his three total rushing attempts manged to gain just six yards. The first six of those snaps came with the Bears in Week 4, and he played a single snap back with the Lions in Week 14.
