- According to Eric DiLalla of Denverbroncos.com, Broncos’ wide receiver Demaryius Thomas is feeling the healthiest he has in years after being hampered by a lingering hip injury the past few seasons.
- Thomas has played 87.8 percent of snaps since 2012 but played only 82.0 percent last season (lowest since 2012), his play has dipped in the past two seasons. After improving every year from 2010-2014 culminating in his career high of 87.2 but the past two seasons both saw his overall grade drop below 80, his 79.5 in 2016 ranked 27th among wide receivers.
- In 2012, Thomas became only the second player in the PFF era (since 2006) to record double digit touchdowns and no interceptions while being targeted (10 TDs, 0 INTs). He nearly tripled the other WR to do so, Reggie Williams JAX in 2007, in targets (Williams 57, Thomas 138).
