  • Last week, Jeff Zrebiec of the Baltimore Sun tweeted that Ravens TE Crocket Gillmore “should be ready to go for camp”. Gillmore did not participate in OTAs or the team’s June minicamp as he has been dealing with multiple injuries. The three-year veteran’s career has been hampered by his inability to stay healthy, but he is in a good position to earn a starting role due to Dennis Pitta’s injury and subsequent release.
  • Gillmore was unable to make a serious impact last season, logging only eight receptions on 90 snaps in route, yielding  0.79 yards per route run.
  • In 2015, however, Gillmore ranked as the 11th best tight end overall with a grade of 79.6. He led all Ravens tight ends with 4 touchdowns and 1.63 yards per route run.
  • Gillmore excelled after the catch in 2015, averaging 7.5 yards after catch per reception which ranked tied for second among tight ends with at least 30 receptions. He also forced 9 missed tackles – eighth most for tight ends.
