  • According to Zak Keefer of IndyStar Sports, Indianapolis Colts’ wide receiver Donte Moncrief has been wearing a non-contact jersey at practice as he continues to work through a sprained AC joint that has bothered him the last few weeks and kept him out of the Colts’ second preseason game. Although Moncrief should be ready for Week 1, it is still a concern considering the shoulder issues that lingered for him during the 2016 season.
  • Moncrief posted career-lows in catch percentage (55.6 percent) and yards after catch per reception (2.5) in 2016. He finished with an overall grade of 78.0, 39th-highest at the wide receiver position.
  • As a rookie in 2014, Moncrief had a passer rating when targeted of 122.0, good for sixth-best at the wide receiver position. He followed that up with ratings of 93.5 (2015) and 96.2 (2016) and has proven to be a legitimate threat for Andrew Luck opposite T.Y. Hilton.
