  • With Darrelle Revis out of work and relative down years from some stars like Richard Sherman, the crown of the league's best cover corner is unusually there for the taking, and Los Angeles Chargers CB Casey Hayward has eyes on the prize according to Chris Wessling of NFL.com.
  • Hayward led the league in interceptions last season, but also allowed only one score over the 93 passes sent his way over the season, and wasn't beaten for a pass longer than 40 yards all season.
  • Hayward allowed a passer rating of just 53.4 when targeted last season, the third best among starting corners.
