- On BuffaloBills.com, Jake Hamilton reports Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones has “looked the part of a top-three wideout” in spring practices and has impressed the coaching staff. Buffalo drafted Jones in the second round this year out of East Carolina.
- In 2016 Jones led the nation in targets with 216 and broke the FBS record with 158 receptions, dropping only six of 164 catchable passes. He was ranked as PFF's fourth-best receiver with an overall grade of 87.8.
- Jones could find immediate success as the Bills slot receiver. He only ran 30 percent of his routes from the slot last season, but his 3.41 yards per route run from the slot was third-best of all wide receivers that ran at least 125 slot routes.
