  • Heading into Thursday night’s home game against the New England Patriots, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers can have confidence in their offensive tackles, who are coming off an outstanding performance in the win over the New York Giants.
  • Donovan Smith didn’t allow a single sack, hit or hurry on his 41 pass-blocking snaps, giving him a perfect pass-blocking efficiency rating of 100.0.
  • Demar Dotson wasn’t quite perfect, allowing a pressure of Jason Pierre-Paul on a two-point conversion, but as two-point conversions don’t count in the stats column, he too comes away with a PBE rating of 100.0, albeit on a technicality.
  • So far this season, Dotson ranks as PFF’s third-highest-graded offensive tackle, with a PFF grade of 86.0, and while Smith is all the way down in 49th with a grade of 45.6, his most recent performance gives reason for hope that he can turn it around.
