- Buffalo Bills left tackle Cordy Glenn could return soon according to head coach Sean McDermott. Glenn is still recovering from an ankle injury he suffered in the middle of last season and received a pain-killing injection earlier this week.
- Before having his season ended due to the injury, Glenn was still playing well. His 82.8 overall grade last season ranked 21st out of 76 qualifying tackles. Glenn’s 657 snaps in 2016 were the lowest amount played of his career.
- Glenn is a premier pass blocking tackle and in 2016 he earned the 10th highest pass blocking efficiency at 96.4 while only allowing 17 total pressures. Glenn’s pass block grade of 85.0 ranked 14th.
- With Glenn’s backup, Seantrel Henderson suspended for the first 10 games of the regular season, the Bills are still searching for options. Internally Michael Ola and Dion Dawkins could be candidates. Ola was solid in the first preseason game earning an overall game grade of 73.5 while Dion Dawkins was solid in the second earning a 75.3 overall grade.
