  • Jordan Shultz of the Huffington Post reports that the Buffalo Bills are in talks with former Chiefs and Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin after he was being recruited by Bills running back LeSean McCoy to come to Buffalo.
  • After back-to-back seasons with at least 85 receptions and 1,000 receiving yards, Maclin had a career low in every major receiving category including snaps played (681) while battling a groin injury in 2016.
  • Maclin’s highest PFF grade came in 2014 (84.2), a year in which he led the league in yards per route run from the slot with 2.41 for the Philadelphia Eagles.
  • He followed that up with a 2015 campaign that included leading the league in drop rate (1.14), dropping just one of the 88 catchable targets thrown his way.
  • Over the 2014 and 2015 seasons, Maclin had the most catchable passes (174) by a wide receiver in PFF history with two or fewer dropped passes in a two-year span.
