- Bills.com writer Chris Brown said Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood should be “100 percent for training camp.” Wood’s 2016 season ended early after suffering a leg injury. He returned to action during OTAs in a limited capacity and did not suffer any setbacks.
- Prior to suffering the leg injury in 2016, Wood had only missed four total snaps since the beginning of 2013. In the games Wood did play in during 2016 he earned his lowest overall grade since 2012 at 71.2 and ranked 32nd out of 38 eligible centers.
- Wood has played at a very high level in the past. In 2015, Wood graded as the fifth-best center at 84.1 overall. That season Wood earned a pass-blocking efficiency of 97.7 which ranked seventh among centers. He allowed just 1 sack on 562 pass-block snaps.
