Aaron Donald the best of interior defenders in Week 5

  • Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald turns in the highest graded performance of the week among not only his position group, but across all position groups with a game grade of 94.6. Donald was subsequently named to the Western & Southern team of the week.
  • A one man wrecking crew rushing the passer this week versus the Seahawks, Donald racked up 10 total pressures on 35 pass-rush snaps, converting three of them into hits. His pass-rush productivity of 22.7 was tied for the week high among all defensive lineman. Versus the run Donald was no slouch either, contributing two run stops on 17 run-defense snaps.
  • Through five games Donald is poised to bring home some end of season hardware yet again, as he is currently the highest graded player across all positions groups at 94.4 overall. Though he has only brought down the quarterback for one sack he is tied for the most quarterback pressures among his position group with 26.
