5 PFF stats you need to know from NFL Week 14

Miss a moment of NFL Week 14 action? Here are the five key stats you need to know coming out of Sunday’s slate of games.

1. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott recorded a 0.0 passer rating when throwing into the coverage of Giants CB Janoris Jenkins.

On the night, Prescott threw to the receiver in Jenkins' coverage eight times, with just two completions recorded for 17 total yards. The former Rams cornerback also grabbed an interception early in the second quarter. For the season, Jenkins (86.4 season grade) ranks among the NFL's 10 highest-graded cornerbacks—just behind teammate Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (86.8).

2. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers recorded an adjusted completion rate of 85.7 percent against the Seahawks—the highest mark among quarterbacks in Week 14.

Rodgers had an excellent game in Green Bay’s blowout win over Seattle, completing 18 of 21 aimed throws for 246 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions—for a near-perfect QB rating of 155.1. The bigger story is that since Week 7, Aaron Rodgers is the No. 1 QB in PFF grades, and has now moved up to No. 5 overall for the season. Even bigger than that, however, is the state of the calf injury he suffered during the win, as Rodgers is critical to the 7-6 Packers’ playoff chances.

3. Panthers DE Mario Addison notched 12 QB pressures against the Chargers in Carolina's 28-16 win.

Addison's mark is a single-game high among all edge defenders this season, and helped him to a position-best pass-rushing productivity mark of 35.6 in Week 14. While Addison remained a constant threat to Chargers QB Philip Rivers throughout the course of the game (one sack, 11 QB hurries), he wasn't the only Carolina player experiencing success on the pass-rush; Rivers was pressured 28 times on Sunday. Compare that to just five pressures on Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger, the lowest mark thus far in Week 14.

4. Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell averaged 3.66 yards after contact per rush in Pittsburgh's win over Buffalo.

That's the third-best mark in the NFL this week. It was a huge day for Bell, who rushed for 236 yards (including a whopping 139 after contact) and three touchdowns on 38 carries, breaking four tackles in the process. He broke two more tackles as a receiver, as he caught all four of his targets in the passing game for 62 additional yards. The Steelers are now the owners of the AFC North lead (the Ravens can tie them at 8-5 with a win on Monday night over the Patriots), and Bell now ranks No. 2 for the season in PFF’s running back grades (behind Cowboys rookie Ezekiel Elliott).

5. On throws under pressure, Vikings QB Sam Bradford recorded a 90.0 adjusted completion percentage. 

Bradford's mark was the best in Week 14 among quarterbacks who faced pressure on 10 or more dropbacks. For the season, the former Eagles QB owns the second-highest adjusted completion percentage under pressure, at 74.5 (behind only Browns QB Cody Kessler, albeit on 47 more dropbacks). Bradford led the league in this category last season, with a 74.4 mark. His continued accuracy under duress in Week 14 helped Minnesota to a 25-16 road win over Jacksonville.
