PFF is seeking to add new part-time data collectors (specializing in football) to our team ahead of the start of the 2024/25 NFL and NCAA seasons.
We have multiple positions available for suitable candidates who can display their knowledge and dedication to the sport. Competitive pay rates are provided, along with the opportunity to gain a foothold in the industry.
In this role, you will collect player and play-level data, which will be delivered to our vast array of team and media clients and drive our consumer products.
This is a remote position only. You will not need to relocate.

Suitable candidates will display the following:
- A passion for football.
- The ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the game.
- A good understanding of what PFF does.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Impressive time management skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- A positive attitude, great work ethic and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to commit multiple hours to PFF during the football season, most notably on weekends and for at least six hours each Saturday of the college season.
All candidates must be able to meet the following criteria to be considered for the role:
- At least 18 years old on July 1, 2024.

What does the application process entail?
- Complete the application form that will be sent to all suitable candidates and answer all the required questions. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Successfully complete an unpaid six-week online training program where we will teach you the skills required to be a data collector with PFF. This program can be completed from home at your own pace. There are no formally scheduled class sessions, but you will have a weekly assignment with a deadline.

Suitable candidates for this role will receive a detailed explanation of the position being offered, pay scales, further training opportunities and more once their initial application has been reviewed. Candidates will also receive a questionnaire to complete.
The Training program runs from May 20 to June 30, and candidates will need to commit around 10 hours per week to the training process over this period.
While there is no guarantee that taking on this role with PFF will lead to a full-time position, it should be noted that every full-time data analyst currently working for PFF began life as a part-time contractor in response to the same job posting as this one. New full-time analysts are hired annually, and they always come from the ranks of our part-time contractors.
