- It's no surprise to see Notre Dame guard Quenton Nelson sitting atop the national rankings. He had another dominant game against Miami (OH), grading at 84.2 overall and holds the nation's No. 2 overall grade at 89.7, behind only UTEP G Will Hernandez (92.0).
- Nelson is outstanding in the run game and he continues to make an impact at the point of attack and when asked to make blocks on the move. He plays next to fellow top prospect, LT Mike McGlinchey, and they make up the most powerful double-teaming run block tandem in the nation.
- Pass protection continues to improve for Nelson as he's surrendered only two pressures all season after allowing 11 in each of the last two seasons. Expect Nelson to be one of the top guards off the board next April.
