In an absolute thriller that came down to the very end, the Houston Texans defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 39-37 in Week 9.
Offensive spotlight: Houston Texans rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud was outstanding in this game, throwing for a career-high 470 passing yards and five touchdowns. This was one of the more impressive ones:

Stroud ended the game 30-for-42, with his 470 passing yards breaking the rookie single-game passing yards record.
Defensive Spotlight: Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David wasn’t perfect on the day, as he missed a few tackles, but he led the team in total tackles with 11, adding two tackles for loss and a forced fumble.
Rookie spotlight: Texans rookie pass-rusher Will Anderson Jr. got the second sack of his NFL career in this game. He finished the contest with three total tackles, that sack and a quarterback hit.
