NFL Week 9 Game Recap: Detroit Lions 15, Green Bay Packers 9

Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers fell to the Detroit Lions by a score of 15-9 in what was supposed to be a get-right spot for them.

Offensive spotlight: Rodgers threw three interceptions in the game. Two of them were in the Detroit end zone, and the third was caught just outside of it as he tried to make something happen without receivers he trusts. Rodgers picked up several key first downs with his legs, scrambling three times and generating 40 rushing yards.

Defensive spotlight: Lions safety Kerby Joseph had the game of his life and was a big reason the Lions emerged victorious. He snagged two interceptions and a critical pass breakup that saved a touchdown on the play.

Rookie spotlight: Romeo Doubs lasted just one play before getting carted off with an injury. Christian Watson had two catches for 24 yards, and seventh-round rookie Samori Toure ended up with the most snaps of any rookie Packers receiver. He had two catches for 34 yards.

Offensive line spotlight: David Bakhtiari almost had a receiving touchdown on a trick play down by the goal line, but Rodgers underthrew the ball and Aidan Hutchinson was able to intercept it. Bakhtiari was typically excellent at his day job of blocking, and rookie Zach Tom looked much better at guard beside him this week.
