Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs offense had another opportunity to for a game-winning drive late against the Buffalo Bills, but a Taron Johnson interception sealed the 24-20 Buffalo victory at Arrowhead Stadium.
Offensive spotlight: Bills WR Stefon Diggs caught all 10 of his catchable targets for 148 receiving yards, one touchdown and seven first downs. He Went 2-of-2 for 61 yards on passes of 20 or more air yards and generated a near-perfect 145.8 passer rating on the day.
Defensive spotlight: DI Chris Jones was charted with only two pressures on first review, but he piled up nine additional pass-rush wins that didn't quite result in a QB pressure.
Rookie spotlight: Kansas City's Skyy Moore caught one pass for 24 yards and a first down. Thirteen of those yards came after the catch, and he forced one missed tackle along the way. He ran 14 routes in total.
Offensive line spotlight: The Bills' offensive line didn't give up a sack, but it did surrender two hits and eight hurries, and they combined for a further 17 pass-block losses that didn't result in pressure.
